Laughter! The day it was!

An extensive ten days of training had all got us bored to the core! No entertainment included, no fun, no laughs and no breaks...its just notes, notes.....notes....explanation and serious discussion all times, lectures and continuous test. When one had a presentation there never was a questions from the trainee side as it was not allowed and all technical stuffs which were asked by the trainers or visiting profs etc. I remember it was on the 11th day we broke all hell loose into laughing and a serious comedy!

Around twenty of us who had undergone this training for a period of 15 days. We all are of different States and nationalities and everyone was confined to their own self and mumbled to oneself to killing this boredom which I think I hated the most! Every trainee was scared of getting low marks that is beyond 85 p.c. Out of the twenty trainees our dept ( Corrections Dept ) had the largest trainee comprising of 4 trainee and we just know each other by names and that's all. We all are very much aware of the session and activities that was monitored by surveillance cameras attached to the training room. One good thing that we all like was the food which had wine as one of the items! And problem after a load of meals! Post lunch are always boring! Drowsy mood at all times!Drowsily drowning in the desk until training resumes and was hard to bear the sleepy mood for the next hour.

On the 11th day as i walked back entering the training room the phone in my pocket started bursting with Michael Jackson's "Black or White." Hey man! I got the mood to shot and started sliding onto the soft floor trying my best for a dance which maybe adore by one among the audience (my mates) Damn hell! I knew i failed miserably for the smiles, grin, frowns which everyone wears on their faces! On the other hand they were cheered. I knew this and want to cherished it! Wanna go further and want them to have fun! I hit upon a plan not to monopolize the stage! and before pacing back to my seat pointed a girl from the front row to take on the next item! She was a fresh grads from IIM Kozikode. I feel like somersaulting to my seat but thanks heaven for i don't know how to do with that and walked coolly with the newly appointed girl dominating the stage with her innovative set up of assignment and request for all of us to have fun until the break time was over!

Assigned turns are now on the roll and everyone comes out with an item for laughter, funny experiences and everyone was undoubtedly in the mood for laughing! jokes of all size crept in, funny incidents are narrated, dances of all which any other dance would never had been worse are performed just for laugh, acting of all kinds were shown, we laughed heartily but with less commotion. Every action was laughed upon. I wondered how human can be desperate that much for laughs! Tension now started disappearing and the ice was broken. Laughing makes a better companies / company and another amazing thing was that we are free for two consecutive hrs which we were later told that never had happened here in this hall! We created headlines!

The next day onwards we had a closer relation with each other and mind your own business thing goes off with everyone bonded together. We all got above 87%. the least getting 87 and of course that's not me!
